Trinh-Faulds Health LLC
Trinh-Faulds Health seeks to develop novel therapeutics for infectious disease.
The highly pathogenic avian influenza A virus (HPAI) is considered to be one of the greatest infectious disease risks to human health and the H5N1 serotype is a potential agent in a catastrophic pandemic. We have provided a brief history of influenza that we will be adding to soon. This year the country of greatest concern for influenza treatment has been Indonesia. As of July, 2007 in Indonesia there have been 27 H5N1 human cases and 23 deaths.
We've just started seeking funding on an exciting new approach to the possible pandemic. If you want the latest on our progress, stop by and pay us a visit.
Our Story
Kimberly and Daryl share a personal mission: We want to improve the individual’s health and wellbeing and it would make our personal mission even more fulfilling if we could improve people’s health and wellbeing at a global level.
Kimberly Trinh is a recent graduate of University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology with an emphasis on Human Health and the Environment. She is interested in integrating evidence-based complementary medical therapies with conventional primary patient care. She believes in treating the whole person, promoting good health and wellbeing, valuing preventive care, and taking a more personalized approach to patient concerns.
After working 20+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, Daryl Faulds would like to give back to the community. His career has been focused on evaluating hypothesis-driven therapeutic development. He now wants to explore the scientific foundation of complementary and alternative medicine. His approaches include our proposed therapeutic for Avian Influenza that challenges the standard antiviral therapies.
Kimberly and Daryl worked together previously at Berlex Biosciences in Richmond, California. After the acquisition of Berlex by Bayer Pharmaceuticals, the two partners established Trinh-Faulds Health in March, 2007 with the intention to conduct scientific research for novel therapies of infectious diseases with a goal of opening an integrative medical clinic that practices evidence-based conventional, complementary, and alternative medicine.
